Say Hello To The Halo Braid And Twist

Have you tried the halo braid hairstyle yet? A throwback to retro and all things chic, I’ve got the steps down right and I want to share them with you.

bridal-hairstyles-1

Never thought of trying a halo braid because you thought you wouldn’t be able to manage it at home? You would be mistaken to think it takes a lot of time and effort. A little practice, yes. But once you’ve wrapped your mind around the idea, you are ready to rock the braided halo.

Here is a step-by-step break up of how to make halo braid:

Step one

-Start by making a side parting.

-The smaller side should be thick enough to be plaited.

-Pull the thicker section away from your face and clip it out of the way.

Step two

-Take the smaller section and separate it into three segments.

-Start braiding the hair, twisting alternate strands over the middle section. (Of course you know how to braid, sorry.)

-Make sure the braid is tight so it doesn’t come undone later. You can always pull out strands once the whole look is ready.

Step three

-Continue braiding towards the back of your head.

-Keep including more sections of hair as you proceed, once from the bottom, once from the top.

-Braiding hair from the back of your head might take practice, but you’ll get there.

Step four

-Once you reach the end, secure the braid with a transparent band.

-Now do the same with the other section, making sure you secure this end too.

-At this point, there should be no loose hair hanging about your head.

Step five

-To get the halo hair look, take the braid from the right and loop it to the left.

-Pin it securely.

-Do the same on the other side.

-Use lots of bobby pins to keep the two braids in place.

-You can now pull out some strands for a more casual, fun look.

Another way of doing this is to make a center parting. You will have two braids on either side of your head, which you can cross over for the halo effect.

Want to try the halo twist instead?

If you are in a rush and don’t have the time to braid your hair, you can coil it, in a halo twist.

-Start with freshly-washed and dry hair. I prefer using the Pantene Pro-V to make my hair extra easy to work with.

-Sweep all your hair to one side.

-Holding the hair firmly, begin twisting it.

-Travel backwards with the twisted hair.

-Stuff the tips of your hair under the halo and secure with a pin.

It sounds easy because it is easy. Practice it a few times and soon you’ll have people stopping for a quick hello! If you still can’t master this hairstyle and you are running late for an event, you can always have the puff hairstyle as your backup plan! It is simple, yet chic and elegant and super easy to make!

Laser and other corrective surgery for face

Lasers and Other Reliable Clinical Skincare Options

What do you do when you want to get rid of wrinkles or other skin problems? Well, your first step might be to try lotions or creams to correct the problem. However, not all lotions and creams work for all skin conditions. Not only that, but even the effective ones won’t work unless you remember to use them daily for a prolonged period of time. If you want a method that will be faster and more reliable, you have to turn to any one of a number of clinical options.

Clinical Procedures That Use Laser Devices

The first set of procedures you could explore are those that use laser devices. Laser treatments are able to get rid of wrinkles in some cases. They can also help you to fade out scars from things like acne. Some of them can even be used to basically resurface your entire outer layer of skin for a better general appearance.

The two most common types of lasers are ablative and non-ablative devices. The first is a laser that is meant to treat the outer layer of your skin, removing or lessening the appearance of visible imperfections. The second is a device that has almost no impact on the surface, but is able to treat the deeper layers of your skin, encouraging cellular reparation and regeneration. Which one you should be treated by depends on the specific sort of skin problem that you have.

Of course, there are other Cosmetic Lasers that basically drill tiny holes through every layer of skin. Those are called fraxel lasers. They also have very specific applications and are only meant for people with specific types of skin issues.

Alternative Types of Skin Resurfacing Procedures

If you want alternative ways to resurface your skin, removing surface imperfections, there are a few options. The top two are microdermabrasion and chemical peels. A microdermabrasion tool acts a lot like a sanding tool would on floors or furniture during home improvement projects. It rubs or “sands” the top layer of skin away. Chemical peels also remove the surface layer, but by using a specific mixture of chemicals instead.

Penetrating Skin Treatments for Deeper Skin Problems

Deeper or more widespread skin problems often have to do with a shortage of collagen, elastin, and other natural materials that make skin cells strong and healthy. Sometimes your body can be prodded into naturally making more of those components when you use a penetrating skin treatment to stir things up in each layer. Aside from non-ablative laser treatments, other methods that could do that include ultrasound treatments and radio frequency treatments.

Correcting Skin Problems with Surgical Intervention

If lasers or the other skin treatments mentioned above don’t seem like quite enough, you might be able to have a face lift or other surgery to correct skin problems. However, that’s a discussion that you will need to have with your doctor and a dermatologist before you can proceed with treatment. If you do choose surgery, be prepared for lengthy recovery times and quite a bit of discomfort during the healing process.

Fash Face Cleanser Review

Hello All,

We all know that the secret to is beautiful skin is taking care of your skin religiously and buying the products which suit your skin rather than blindly following the crowd. With so much pollution and dirt around us, it become imperative to take care of your face to look beautiful .

FashFaceCleanser

Today I am going to review a product for acne prone skin. Curatio Fash cleanser is a gentle skin cleanser which comes in two forms, gel and foam. This face cleanser was prescribed to me by doctor and I have been using it religiously since then. I don’t have acne prone skin, but have a pimple or two just a week before my periods, hence I use this face wash.

Fash face cleanser helps to remove excessive oil and dirt from your face thereby making your skin smooth and acne free.

My View on Fash Face Cleanser:

  1. Makes my face squeaky clean during summers, during winters it stretches a little.
  2. The gel based face wash is too thick takes time to lather up .
  3. I somehow found the foam based cleanser more suitable to my skin, making it soft and adding a glow to my face.

To summarize:

–> Will I buy this product again? Yes

–> Does it remove acne ? I can’t say, but it did help me with my oily skin.

Fash Face Cleanser is also available over the counter in all leading chemist stores, you don’t necessarily need a doctor’s prescription for this.

Rating: A+

IMG_1164

I am soooo excited because this my first post In the Make up and Beauty Section of Style Tabloid. Let me start by introducing the brand I will be reviewing. Fab Bag, is an online beauty and makeup zone. where they give you a questionnaire which tells them about your skin and preferences. According to the result, each month a fabulous bag containing an array of beauty and makeup products is sent. I love the Fab Bag because it saves a lot of time and money. Firstly, the subscription charges is very less. Secondly. instead of wasting your time on buying expensive products which unfortunately doesn’t work out for you, switch to fab bag which sends you products you can try and if you like keep ordering more or discard (Now that doesn’t pinch the pocket so hard).

This is my second Fab Bag, I have currently subscribed to the three month plan, so each month. Frankly, I didn’t quite like the May Fab Bag so I didn’t review it on my profile. I received the June Fab Bag and I loved it might be an understatement.
Here’s a detailed list of the products and their features and also my
