Monday is here and I know you must be aching to take time off work and indulge in some serious shopping. With a crazy sale going on on almost all the store, it’s time to make a wallet a bit light and shop till you drop. To help you, I bring to you some cool ideas you can buy at the comfort of your house and some wine by your side. Firstly, Off Shoulders are ruling the runway this season. From Anushka Sharma to Deepika Padukone, the off Shoulder trend has been a favourite among bollywood stars as well. I have been loving this trend and have hoarded quite a few of these tops in my closet (guilty!).

For today’s outfit of the day, I paired this gorgeous top from Prym (Jabong) with a skirt from The Label Life. The tops makes for an beautiful cocktail of colors  and the gorgeous print and bells sleeves gives it a vintage feel.  The Skirt (one of my favourite buys this season) is super versatile and comes with a self tie belt. The pinstripes makes it for a great office wear. Pair it with a white shirt for a cool office wear look or wear it with a bardot top , gladiator sandals for a cool hat for superb autumn outfit.

Do let me know if you look this look and if you do happen to buy this skirt, tag me on Instagram as to how you paired it. (Instagram Handle: ragini_styletabloid)

Cheers!

Style Tabloid for Lokal South, Indian Fashion Blogger.

While shooting for this particular piece, my awesome photographer (Chandni Gajria) questioned me how would I describe my style. Now that one is tricky, on sometimes I feel like a total sophisticated chic who wouldn’t be caught dead in anything less than a 3 inch heels (I was going to type 5, but then who am I kidding), done up hair and makeup on fleek while on other days(read : most of the days), I would love a loose comfy shirt with pyjamas, loose pants or a skirt with a messy bun. So, fashion for me would be my state of mind on that particular day.

Quirky prints always seem to catch my eye. While browsing through endless e-commerce websites and searching for something that screams “Me”, I caught hold of this turban print shirt from a store called Lokal South, there were some pretty awesome prints in the collection, ranging from maxi’s to midi’s , dresses, shirt dresses and much more.

Lokal South is the brainchild of Darshana Sukumar and I for one, am am big fan of her designs. I love the prints and how it doesn’t over power the one who wears it but instead lets the clothes be a piece of art. I have styled this shirt with a skirt from another beautiful Instagram store find called Dress House. Dress House is an instagram store which has some beautiful chic collection of clothes at budget friendly prices. Follow me on Instagram  to know more of such awesome designers.

Outfit details: Shirt: Lokal South (Shop at Myntra), Skirt (Dresshouse), Sandals: Bliss Store.

Isn’t the heat wave killing you?? It’s so hot that wearing anything skin hugging is a simple no no. This summer, I am looking forward to linen palazzos and shirts, loose cotton  kurtis, bohemian spanish fringe skirts all and everything light and breathable.

While talking about light weight and breathable clothes we cannot forget the mecca of Indian wear that is Fab India. Fab India has been a favorite store of mine since I was a child. I would see my mom rummaging through beautiful cotton saris and my sister strutting around in zari dupattas, I knew I would be a frequent visitor of this store which had inspired million fashion stories in my childhood dreams.

So, today, I have worn this beautiful linen black and white checks kurta, a very khadi inspired look along with black palazzo pants and a steal of jacket bought from Vinegar store in Mumbai. I love the beautiful pattern of the jacket and the overall festive vibe I created with a simple linen Kurta. One can also style the same with white palazzos and sandals for a killer chiller vibe.

Do let me know in your comments what did you think about this look.
